“ One of the best places for 'Pantai Timur' cuisine. They offer various types of dishes starting from nasi campur, nasi dagang, nasi kerabu, somtam and lokching. They offer a huge range of dishes for lunch starting from chicken, seafood, fish, ulam and kerabu. They also have sweet dishes like mango sticky rice and akok. I've tried nasi dagang and gulai ikan tongkol, and it's so good. The portion is generous, plus it's super duper affordable. Paid RM8 for a huge portion of nasi dagang and a big ikan tongkol slice. You can also have a takeaway. They also offer free flow drinking water. Service is fast and systematic. You can use QR pay here. They have indoor and outdoor seating. During my visit, it's not too crowded even though it's lunch hour on a weekday. It is accessible through LRT Kampung Bharu and a few metres walk away from the station. Totally recommended. ”
“ We ate her 3 times during my last visit to KL. It's a must go if you are in and around KL. Parking can be a little challenging and expensive but the food and the experience are worth the pay. ”
“ Gone there for breakfast early in the morning to avoid the weekend crowd. Kak Som serves the regular mix economy rice set which has a lot of yummy looking dishes. They also serve the other local favourites of laksum and nasi kerabu with daging bakar (grilled beef). Taste as authentic as it gets. ”
“ This area ah, don't come late at night. The traffic, the stuffy, the crooked. Just come at the morning. Kak Som, Nasi Lemak Wanji all opened at the morning and still, free from traffic. The taste? Still the same whether night or morning. Why hassle? Food? Delicious , I love their Nasi Kerabu and Laksam. So creamy. The price? Quite expensive, well, you're in KL, deal with it. ”
